Gateway Graduate School has opened registrations for the new British Masters in Education, that will be delivered by the fly-in campus of the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus (UNMC). The course, offered in Sri Lanka for the very first time, will be conducted on a part time basis over 24 months. All teaching will be carried out by the UNMC faculty on a face-to-face basis at the Gateway Graduate School during their visits to Sri Lanka. Students will be also be enrolled on a Virtual Learning Environment with access to library and other online resources. The successful graduates will be invited by UNMC to attend their graduation ceremony.
The MA in Education is open to graduates who do not have a teaching qualification enabling them to add value to themselves by obtaining a world renowned Masters teaching qualification. Gateway’s partnership with UNMC will enable such candidates to complete the MA in Education in Sri Lanka at a fraction of the cost of studying overseas.
Gateway has signed up with NDB Bank to provide an exciting new student loan scheme that would ease the burden of students and parents. The low interest scheme is designed in a way where the students are required to pay interest only during the study period and pay back the capital once qualified when they could easily find employment. With a total payback period of 8 years the loan scheme is most attractive.
